The bark of Pausinystalia yohimbe (K. Schumann) (commonly called yohimbe) contains the indolalkylamine alkaloid yohimbine, which is a potent alpha-2- adrenergic antagonist that may be toxic when ingested in high doses. 10/16/97 www.fda.gov
